Natural ways to grow your hair faster
You admire ladies with long hair and you desperately wish you had that, so you have bought alot of hair products, pills to make your hair grow, but still no improvement or
You have different hair styles in mind but you can't do this because your hair is short and it won't be so nice.
You are like "oh, I wish I had a long or a longer hair".
I have always admired the Indian ladies and their hair, so long and silky. I discovered there are natural ways to grow your hair faster and make it smooth.
1) Eat healthy
Our hair reflects our overall health. A child that is malnourished usually has a fluffy hair and is usually dull brown. For a well nurtured hair, you need to eat right.
- Take lots of water about 1.5-2 liters every day
- Take protein based foods like meat, fish, chicken. For vegetarians, they can take nuts, tofu, beans e.t.c. Protein is essential for hair growth so make sure it's part of your meal.
- Vitamin C- This produces collagen which is needed for a healthy hair and skin. It is also an antioxidant so it prevents cellular damage. Source: citrus fruits.
- Take salmon and oysters which are rich in biotin. They also help in hair growth
2) Make conditioner your friend
Shampoo your hair less and use conditioner more. When you shampoo your hair, it causes the hair to become drier and more brittle. It is not advisable to wash your hair everyday.
A good conditioner maintains the ends of the hair. It minimizes tangling and breakage. It keeps the hair moist and replaces the natural oils that have been washed away by shampoo.
3) Don't comb your hair while it's dripping wet.
Most of us do this alot. When you comb your hair while it's dripping wet, the hair will start to break. So, instead of this, dry your hair gently with a dry towel not so fast before you use a brush or a comb.
Also, when you are drying the hair, don't be such in a hurry. If possible avoid using a hair dryer, it's advisable drying your hair naturally.
4) Oil massage
Massage your hair with a good oil every week. This ensures that your hair is healthy, there are no or little loose strands. Try using coconut or olive oil to help your hair grow.
5) Brush your hair every night
You might have heard that excessive brushing causes the hair to break but I think it depends on the type of brush or comb used. If you use synthetic brushes, it can damage the hair so use a boar brush instead. This increases the blood circulation to the scalp. Make sure you brush your hair before you retire to bed. This makes the hair roots stronger and grow faster.
6) Get rid of stress
Stress has a negative effect on your health as well as your health growth. Excessive stress due to personal problems can disrupt the hair cycle and can prevent it from growing so get rid of any form of stress.
Figure out a way to burn off the stress by going on a run, or watching a show on Tv, or with yoga, e.t.c. Whatever that makes you relieved from stress.
Make sure you have friends and family members to keep you company while you’re trying to recover from the recent situation.
